Each model now utilizes the technical developments of today's manufacturing processes and lightweight tubing. Viking Vision 36V e-bike with Electrical Assist The the 2017 Vision 36 provides an assisted range of of up to 45 kilometers from it's 36 Volt battery. Rather than having a throttle, the motor helps you along once you start to pedal. With it's six speed shimano drivetrain you can still choose a comfortable gear and select the level of assistance you require depending on the terrain. Assisted E-bikes are limited to about 15 mph (25kph) top speed, but do not require any form of insurance, should you wish the Vision can be ridden with out the battery as a regular Bike . At the heart of the Vision is a 250 Watt brushless front wheel motor, the 36 volt battery mounts in the rear pannier rack for easy fitting/removal. With a low step over height, the alloy frame folds for easy transportation or storage. Equipped with a comfy saddle, front & rear mudguards the 2017 Viking Vision is ready for anything, from nipping trips to the shops to your daily commute or trips in the country. The handle bar module provides battery status information via handy LED's and has a button to adjust the level of assistance. Frame: Aluminium folding frame with low step over. Fork: Hi-Tensile forks. Gears: Shimano 6 speed thumb shifter.
