Similar to the Metro LS, the new version of the VOLT Metro has also benefited from several improvements. Not only has the frame evolved to a sleeker and more modern look but the technology of the Bike coupled with its high spec components put the Metro in a class of its own amongst competing folding e-bikes. Still the perfect choice for commuters and riders who like to travel with their electric bikes. Still one of the lightest e-bikes on the market, the Metro folds down quickly and easily for storage or travelling. As with all our bikes, the components we use are strictly high quality and from well-known cycling industry brands. SKS mudguards, Shimano M375 front and rear disc brakes, Alivio 8 speed gears and SR Suntour suspension. The puncture resistant tyres are produced by industry giant Kenda and for that extra bit of anti-puncture protection we have manufactured a super thick inner tube. The Metro provides a comfortable upright riding position thanks to the Velo Plush saddle and suspension seat post. This is a compact e-bike, allowing for great handling and agility. A good 8 speed gear ratio means you won't feel out of place amongst more conventional e-bikes with a bigger frame and wheels. The Metro's lightweight frame and powerful 250 watt SpinTech motor results in a nippy and stylish way to get around! There are two Panasonic battery options available on the Metro, the standard is 40+ miles with the option to upgrade to a 60+ mile battery if needed. The Metro is available in: Black or White.
