When the distances stretch longer and the routes get more challenging, the VOTEC VRd revels in its element. You enjoy a sporty yet comfortable position on the bike. Even after long hours spent in the saddle, the VRd curves with instinctive certainty; offering superior riding stability at high speeds and during rapid manoeuvres. High-performance disc brakes also offer consistently high control in all the development of the VRd, the greatest importance was placed on achieving the best-possible technical and optical integration of the new braking system. In order to achieve this, we set the frame and specially developed carbon fork to the new Flat Mount standard. The result was near-invisible brake fork and rear axles offer space for up to 30 mm wide tyres. In addition, the sleek integration of the train guide clean and tidy look. Both versions come with hydraulic brakes and roll on lightweight A-Class CXD wheels with wider rims and 28 mm Schwalbe Pro ONE tyres. Both tyres and rims have been predesigned for a simple tubeless VRd Comp features Shimano's 105 drivetrain, whilst the Pro version comes equipped with Ultegra train technology.
